Discover nearby autumn charm in Julian, California! It’s a favorite thanks to our friend Sara’s investment property and weekends spent there. Explore apple orchards, relish our personal favorite homemade pies at California Mountain Bakery, and enjoy local wineries and breweries. Again do not miss Calico Cidery. Design is just so on point as is the orchards and cider flights. And look no further than Sara’s retreat here as this is where you’ll want to stay!
| Mulled Cider Recipe: Taste of Autumn 🍎 Experience fall’s essence with our Mulled Cider: 4 cups apple cider 1 orange, sliced 1 cinnamon stick 4-6 whole cloves 1-2 star anise 1-2 tbsp honey/maple syrup Optional: brandy/rum Instructions: Combine cider, orange, spices in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 15-20 mins. Add sweetener, adjust to taste. For adults, add brandy/rum. Strain into mugs, garnish, and sip! |
