Summer may be winding up however LA County beaches never close! The beauty of living in California! Whether you’re seeking ideal surfing or swimming conditions or prefer a secluded spot for sunbathing, there’s a beach here in LA for you.

Manhattan Beach

If a small beach town feel is your vibe then Manhattan Beach is your place. Popular with swimmers, surfers, and sun tanners alike, this beautiful beach is set along the Strand, a bike path that winds from South Bay to Pacific Palisades. When your beach day is done head on up to the adorable shops, restaurants, and bars. The options are endless. Have a drink or brunch at the Strand House, a stone’s throw from the beach.

Santa Monica

Santa Monica is a 3-mile shoreline that is split by the historic pier. It has a vintage feel and is most definitely not to be missed. As usual surfing, swimming, volleyball, and all the facilities that are convenient for all make Santa Monica beach wonderful. At the same time, this walkable city features shopping and dining. One of our favorites is Shutters On the Beach, a luxury hotel with a beautiful bar and restaurant not to be missed.

Malibu Beach

I think everyone in the world knows Malibu Beach! With more than 20 miles of coastline, Malibu has both private and public beaches. If you’re into surfing then Topanga Beach, Surfrider Beach, Nicholas Canyon Beach, and County Line Beach are your best bets. For something more relaxing we would suggest  Leo Carrillo State Park which is ideal for swimming, fishing, surfing, and exploring tide pools and coastal caves. There are plenty of restaurants to be found along PCH both casual and luxurious. For some reason, we always end up at Moonshadows. But so many options for you to enjoy!
